What Are City & Guilds NPTC CPD Modules?

City & Guilds NPTC CPD modules are designed to support continued professional competence for qualified chainsaw operators and arborists who already hold the relevant NPTC units.

CPD modules combine structured refresher training with independent City & Guilds NPTC assessment, allowing experienced operators to review skills, update working practices and demonstrate ongoing competence against current assessment criteria.

To be awarded a CPD module, candidates must meet a minimum assessment standard as set by City & Guilds NPTC. CPD modules do not replace initial certification but provide a recognised method of demonstrating continued competence and professional development.
